Founded in 1975, Canine Companions is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.

In 2016, Booksontime partnered with Canine Companions to support a great cause in our community. Our team volunteers at quarterly graduations, dog walks and events throughout the year in support of Canine Companions mission. In 2018 our CEO, Nick joined Canine Companions as a board member of the Northeast Region and, in 2020, was elected as the board president. Canine Companions provide expertly-trained assistance dogs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities.
